Re: Would you vote for Trump?
I notice you said "Pro-war".

Trump has criticised the wars that Bush and Obama have presided over.
He has also said that Putin seems like someone he can work with.
Contrast that to the provocations of the last two administrations.

An yet people are saying that a Trump presidency will result in a World war.

"OK, so he'd said he's Pro-life (as any right-minded person should be)"

Dont get me started on that...

"also left some other ambiguity regarding normal pregnancies.

So he's really left him self a large amount of wriggle room on that issue. "

Of course he has, he isnt expressing his true feelings about any of it, he is saying what he thinks people want him to say so they will support him.

The Christ worshipping, Anti-Gun control, Pro-life, Pro-war, Anti-left, slightly bigoted , Biblebelters would lap all that up...Reagan didnt it long before him.

Introducing "Theraputic Abortions" 4 months in to his Presidency and then acted all sad and surprised that a million people turned up for abortions, realising that conservative right wouldn't like it he made a statement saying that if he knew Doctors were going to abuse the system he would never have passed the the law....

Trumo is trying to be all things to all people insuring that he will be a Nobody to everyone.

OK, so he'd said he's Pro-life (as any right-minded person should be), but would support abortion in certain circumstances, and also left some other ambiguity regarding normal pregnancies.

So he's really left him self a large amount of wriggle room on that issue.

What kind of West Ham fan stays up until half hour before we're due on the box, and THEN goes to bed?

I knew you were weird, Ron, but that's off the scale.

Nope, Im baseing my 'belief' on something he said right here.

Watch it when you wake up from your bed in the Brisbane suburbs because you are tired and you are going to bed..

Re: Would you vote for Trump?
So you're basing your belief regarding what Trump has said on what other people are telling you he has said.

I thought as much. That's what most people are doing, unfortunately, and it's making his opponents' lives much easier.

Here are three indisputable facts for you.

1 - It's late here in the Brisbane suburbs.
2 - I'm tired.
3 - I'm going to bed.

Another time, maybe.

This is exactly the problem with Trump. My father in law was a regular church goer and voted for whomever was anti-abortion or pro-life, take yer pick. If Trump can make such a radical statement just to get a few anti abortion votes without thinking through the consequences of the statement, what will he say at a G-20 meeting?

This bloke is not a loose cannon, he's way beyond that.

"I'd like you to provide a link to video of him actually saying that he would ban it outright. "

Im not sure there is one.

Im refering to direct quotes that he has said over the years and the inference you can draw from them.

He has said ,after a change of belief, that he is Pro-life with the caveats of danger to the life of the mother, incest and rape.

So that excludes babies who would be born with massive disabilities, woman who would be financially unable or emotionally unable to look after and raise a child.

Dunno why you are even taking issue with this to be fair, the bloke would personally want to remove freedom of choice for the woman...how is this ok?

Re: Would you vote for Trump?
I think Trump should be banned so we can punish his mum for NOT having an abortion.

Ronald_antly 3:18 Sat Apr 2
Re: Would you vote for Trump?
Well, if it were banned, then having one would be a crime (which it is anyway), so punishment would be in order.

However, I'd like you to provide a link to video of him actually saying that he would ban it outright.

You can suspect what you wish.

He said that he would BAN abortion and then look in to punishing those who got one illegally.

Ronald_antly 3:09 Sat Apr 2
Re: Would you vote for Trump?
Yes,

I suspect YOU are not.

He has said that there would be repercussions for women having ILLEGAL abortions.

Are you aware of Trumps stance on Abortion and 'punishing' woman who choose t have one?

VirginiaHam 2:50 Sat Apr 2
Re: Would you vote for Trump?
Trump's ability to say the first thing that he thinks might get votes is very disturbing. He could do the same thing at a meeting of world leaders and to hell with the consequences. I hope someone holds him accountable for his wackier comments such as building a wall to keep the Mexicans out and making Mexico pay for the wall.

A third term for the Democrats would not be good for the USA. Time for change. The problem is that if Trump gets the nomination I see disaster whichever way the Septics vote.

If it is Trump the US voters risk turning the election into a one horse race, as happened with McCain/Palin.
